Wine Taster

This is a selection of the delicious wines we work with, to give you a taster of what we have on offer….Enjoy!

Henri Gaillard Cotes de Provence 2014/15

This fabulous rose wine from what must be the rose wine mecca of South Eastern France has everything that wine lovers the world over have come to expect of this quite outstanding wine. Light elegant but equally full of finesse. This glorious pink wine with a tinge of orange is what summer evenings are all about with it’s aromas of strawberries and red currants and candied lemon and pear on the palate and a rich elegant finish.

Cote de Provence produces mainly rose wine which accounts for 85% of the total output in the region. The other 15% is made up of a small quantity of red and white wine but the jewel in the crown so to speak is the rose wine. The rose is made mainly from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsaut grape varieties and Tibouren which is the original Provencal grape variety.

Rioja Bordon Crianza

Beautifully balanced, elegant and classy. Summer pudding, spice, cloves and a great long finish. This multi award winning wine produced by Franco Espanolas one of the top Rioja Houses in Spain with over 125 years of expertise in producing fine Rioja’s.

Churchview Cabernet Sauvignon

With Intense dark fruits, followed by liquorice, chocolate and vanilla and with hints of eucalyptus.

Margaret River in Western Australia is one of the worlds greatest wine producing regions. The sunny maritime climate and excellent soils, clean air and pristine waters are all the ingredients needed to enhance the lush juicy grapes that produce such outstanding wines such as the Churchview Estate wines. Enjoy

Viognier Domaine de La Baume

Intensely aromatic white with a bouquet of elderflower, citrus and honey, with a wholesome palate with a ripe, honeyed apple flavour and a zesty finish. A fabulous example of what can be done with Viognier grape variety.

Cliff Edge Sauvignon Blanc

Passion fruit, lime, gooseberries and pears, on the palate is crisp, clean and quite grassy with a good weight and finish. Classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region.

We believe that good wine and good company go together hand-in-hand, which is why we only work with wine that we would happily drink ourselves.
